The Organization
Techsploration, a not-for-profit organization, is a joint initiative of:
- Nova Scotia Community College (NSCC)
- Women in Trades and Technology (WITT-NS)
- Nova Scotia Department of Labour and Advanced Education, Apprenticeship Training Division
Techsploration exists through the support and generosity of our sponsors.
We are governed by a volunteer Board of Directors and eight committees.
In 2001, as a direct result of the success of Techsploration, the program expanded to Newfoundland and Labrador. Under the auspices of Women in Resource Development (WRD), Techsploration Newfoundland and Labrador continues to inspire young women in that province.
