“Techsploration was one of the best things I’ve ever participated in. It is a wonderful experience for young women to explore their career options early so they can have an idea of what they would like to do. I, like many other young women, was not thinking of a secondary education at the time. When our group received a mentor that was a Marine Biologist, I was fascinated by it. We were able to go snorkeling with wet suits when it was snowing! It was such a fun time for me and the other girls in my group. That experience has really influenced me to pursue a career in that field. I have been very involved in Techsploration ever since. I want other girls to have the same amazing experience I had, especially women interested in sciences and trades.”
