“I firmly believe that when youth have the opportunity to experience different occupations hands-on, they are then provided with very practical and exciting information to assist them in making quality career choices.

Techsploration provides very unique experiential opportunities to introduce young women to skilled trades, science, technology, and engineering occupations through engaging female role models. Women are very under-represented particularly in the skilled trades. It is so important for young women to see themselves in these occupations through the eyes of a role model and to learn about the role model’s career journey; what a great way to learn!
