Meet Jean – Techsploration’s Newest Team Member!

We’re excited to welcome Jean to the Techsploration team as our new Program Assistant for her work term! Currently studying in the Administrative Professional program at NSCC, Jean has spent the last six months sharpening her technical and administrative skills.

She holds a BFA in Interdisciplinary Arts from NSCAD University (Class of 2022), where she was actively involved in student politics through the Student Union. Since graduating, Jean has brought her passion and talents to various organizations across Halifax, including the Khyber Centre for the Arts, Brunswick Street Mission, Common Roots Urban Farm, and the MacPhee Centre for Creative Learning.

With a strong interest in the nonprofit sector, Jean is deeply committed to building meaningful connections within the communities she serves. She’s thrilled to be supporting Techsploration’s ongoing programming and mission.

When she’s not working or studying, you can find Jean reading, watching thrillers, experimenting with crafts like crochet, or hiking through Long Lake Provincial Park.
